Congratulations to all of todays Petrofac athletes. This was the fourth and last league meeting of the summer and nine out of a possible ten teams have qualified for next months final in Aberdeen. Sorry Kieran we do need to find you some team mates. See results tab for details.
U11 girls - 1st today - 1st in league U11 boys - 3rd today - 4th in league
U13 girls - 4th today - 1st in league U13 boys - 3rd today - 3rd in league
U15 girls - 3rd today - 2nd in league U15 boys - 1st today - 2nd in league
U17 women - 3rd today - 2nd in league U17 men - 5th today - 5th in league
Sen. Women - 2nd today - 2nd in league Sen. Men - 1st today - 1st in league
Female team 2nd place Male team 3rd place
Special mention must go to the members of the under 15 boys team (Matthew Law, Daniel Smart, Elliot Boath & Joel McFarlane), who broke an eighteen year old Petrofac record in the 4 by 400m relay. The team set the new record at 3.52.5 taking over SEVEN seconds off the previous record and 12.5 seconds off the club record. A second record also went to Joel McFarlane in the U15 boys long jump, where again an eighteen year old recod fell to a leap of 6.18m. A trully fantastics set of results boys, well done.
