UntitledThe club’s Frances Ogg Memorial multi events competition concluded on Thursday with 65 young athletes aged 8 to Senior taking part. The competition covered 5 events with athletes awarded points in line with the Scottish Athletics Standards. This allows different age groups to be compared against one another and compared to National Standards in their own age group.  The overall Champion and winner of the Frances Ogg Memorial Trophy was U15 athlete Joel Mcfarlane who achieved 14 standard points.  On 5 points, the joint winners sharing the womens G & S CE Trophy  were U13 athlete, Megan Gowans & U17 Niamh Feighan.  U15 athletes Matthew Law and Daniel Smart both scored 7 points to share the Mens Greenhill Trophy.

Medals are also awarded to the first 3 athletes in each age group. These are calculated using the Thistle Awards combined evevts scoring system.  These medals will be presented at the annual trophy disco.

U11 girls, Gold, Sophia Graham, 120 points; Silver, Amber Whamond, 106 points; Bronze, Elita Mcfarlane, 105 points.

U11 boys, Gold, Daniel Nicoll, 93 points; Silver, Angus Campbell, 88 points; Bronze, Lewis Forfar 86 points.

U13, girls, Gold, Megan Gowans, 94 points; Silver, Sarah Smart, 76 points; Bronze, Hannah Willey, 67 points.

U13, boys, Gold, Robert Leiper, 94 points; Silver, Calum Gibson, 66 points; Bronze, Max Bremner, 65 points.

U15, girls, Gold, Rachel Broadfoot, 124 points; Silver,Iona McFarlane, 100 points; Bronze, Gabby Jaugaite, 93 points.

U15, boys, Gold, Joel Mcfarlane, 223 points; Silver, Matthew Law, 190 points; Bronze, Daniel Smart, 172 points.

U17, women Gold,  Anna Robertson, 118 points; Silver, Niamh Feighan, 107 points; Bronze, Alix Small, 103 points.

U17, men, Gold, Kieran McKenzie, 124 points;

U20, women Gold, Ellen Robertson, 133 points; Silver,Shona Townsend, 111 points;

U20, men Gold, Liam Fotheringham, 169 points; Silver, Ross Croal, 131 points; Bronze,  Malcolm Beaton, 127 points.

Women, Gold, Karen Kelly, 52 points;
