Carnoustie Haven donation

A big thank you to Carnoustie Haven for their very generous donation we received today. It is very much appreciated and will be put towards some new equipment to be used by our young athletes.

RAM Tubulars Sponsorship

Also a big thank you to RAM Tubulars who have sponsored the club for another season. We really appreciate this. The money will be put to great use with funding our attendance at athletics competitions throughout the season and also getting some more new equipment to replace some of the older equipment we currently have.

Summer session training times

Tuesday

U13 and above 6:30 - 9 @ the track.

Hall available from 8-9 for bad weather

Thursday

U11 6:30 - 7:45 @ the track

U13 and above - 6:30 - 8:30 @ the track

Hall available from 7-8 for bad weather

Saturday

Little Athletics 9-10 @ the track

All other age groups 9-11 @ the track

Hall available 9-10 for bad weather.

Cross Country 2023 25th March @ 9am

We have a great day to look forward to this Saturday (25th March) at our Cross Country Event incorporating our annual registration day at Monikie Country Park.

If every one can be there at 9am please so that we can get the races started at 9:30

The running order for the races on the day will be as follows:-

Little Athletics
(Letting them show the rest of us how it’s done). Then they can watch and cheer on the older ones.
U11 girls
U11 boys
U13 girls
U13 boys
U15 girls
U15 boys
U17 girls
U17 boys
Seniors
Parents race (The grand finale - sure to be a keenly contested one?)

The races will start just after the previous one finishes so we won’t put times down for them.

Please bring waterproofs, warm clothing, kit to run in, dry gear to change into and some water to drink. We do have access to a tent which will be dry and allow people to store kit etc.

Snacks/drinks will be available on the day (cash or card accepted).

Members of the committee will be available with forms in the tent throughout the event to get you registered for the season ahead so remember your membership fees please (cash or payment into the bank)

If anyone knows anyone who might be interested in taking part in athletics then bring them along on the day and they can see what we are all about and talk to some of the coaches.

Cross Country 2022

The club recently held their annual Cross Country races at Monikie Country Park.

Thanks to all who contributed to make it a great day.

The weather was superb for it.

The money raised from the Cake/Tea stall and the Raffle (both £160+) will help club funds.

Rag Bag Collection

We have a Rag Bag collection arranged for 28th October.

Last day to hand any bags in will be Tuesday 26th October.

Bags can be handed in to Karen at any of the sessions before that.

If you have any old clothes/trainers.shoes then put them into a bin bag and hand them in.

Any donations will be gratefully received and all will contribute to raising funds for the club.

Rag Bags

The latest collection of Rag Bags will happen at the end of May - exact date not know yet.

Please start collecting your old clothes, shoes etc and put them into black bags.

We would be grateful if you could keep them at home just now, but if you need to get rid of them please arrange to bring them to one of the sessions and they will be taken and stored.

It would help if you let us know before you are bringing them so we know to have a vehicle to come and pick them up.
